The Young Run and the Mature Observe

Published on July 14, 2013 by in Photos, Random

On a recent trip to the Northern California coast we stopped at some tide pools just south of San Francisco. This scene made me smile.  I was amused by the juxtaposition between the young and old.  The young run, while the mature observe.  I’m sure I could turn this into a trading and investing analogy, but that might spoil the fun.

The young run while the old observe

I found myself somewhere in between the young and old…walking and taking pictures.

    Is that Monterey?

It is the Fitzgerald Marine Reserve in Moss Beach, CA. 30 minutes south of San Francisco and about an hour north of Santa Cruz (a couple hours north of Monterey).

This was a beautiful setting, but Monterey (and Pacific Grove) have even better views. The water there is even more blue, with black rock, and white cresting waves. I’ll post some pictures of Monterey over the coming weeks.
